Resource Curation Volunteer

Description: Are you skilled in developing resources for the benefit of your community? We are seeking an individual who can find, share, and/or create powerful resources supporting Sabbath rest and “Being Still” for the benefit of the public and Church leaders.

Hours: Minimum of 2-3 hours per week.

Location: The work can be done from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to):

  • Search and explore various online sources, such as websites, blogs, social media, news outlets, industry publications and others, to find content about Sabbath rest and “Being Still”.
  • Assess the information’s quality, credibility and relevance by reviewing the author’s authority, the information’s accuracy, the timeliness of the content and whether it aligns with the target audience.
  • Evaluate the information, organize it into a coherent structure using categories or topics to make it easy to navigate.
  • Work with Be Still, Inc. leadership to determine timelines for sharing relevant information.
  • Share the information on various channels, such as the Be Still, Inc. website, blog, social media or a specifically identified media platform (or pass the information along to some other team member who can share the information).
  • Track your volunteer time and submit to Be Still staff monthly.

**Anyone interested in applying should have a sincere interest in eliminating clergy burnout.
