Housekeeping Volunteer (Plainfield, WI)
Description: Do you enjoy making homes spotless and beautiful by cleaning and sanitizing? Be Still Retreats is looking for great housekeepers to join our Housekeeping team at Be Still Retreats. This person will need to be trustworthy and hardworking and have pronounced attention to detail.
Hours: Approximately 4-5 hours per week.
Location: N6789 3rd Avenue, Plainfield, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to):
- Work independently and part of a team cleaning Be Still Retreat cottages after guests leave.
- General cleaning and sanitizing: Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Cleaning and sanitizing specific areas: Bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and mirrors, and kitchens, including counters, sinks, and appliances.
- Laundry: Washing, drying, folding, and ironing as needed.
- Linens: Changing bed and bath linens and making beds.
- Safety: Reporting safety hazards to Be Still Retreat Manager and removing potentially unsafe items.
- Supplies: Refilling supplies and maintaining an inventory of tools and supplies.
- Other tasks: Restocking personal items as needed.
- Keep track of your volunteer time and submit to Be Still staff monthly.
